Everyone has two kidneys. They are at the top of your abdomen, at the back. Your kidneys are about the size of your fist. They are shaped like a bean. Healthy kidneys clean your blood. They remove waste and extra water from your blood. The clean blood stays in your body. The waste materials and water end up in your urine.
